Auto Dealership Settles OSHA Case After 3 Die in Fire

An Alabama auto dealership has agreed to pay $114,074 in penalties to resolve citations issued by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration after three employees were fatally injured. OSHA said it reached a settlement with Carl Cannon Inc. in Jaspar. The agency cited the company after investigating a fire that killed three workers and injured two others. OSHA said the fire broke out while employees were using a flammable brake wash to scrub the service pit floor.
