Governor Signs Hanford Presumption Bill

Washington state Gov. Jay Inslee signed into law a bill that would create a presumption that certain conditions suffered by federal workers at a nuclear storage site are compensable and that allows those who have had work comp claims denied to re-file once the presumption takes effect. Inslee on Wednesday signed House Bill 1723, introduced by the House Labor and Workplace Standards Committee.
