The vendor Kansas' workers' compensation agency selected to build an electronic records system has begun work on the system's first three "tracks," the Kansas Workers' Compensation Division said in its March newsletter.
The system's functions will be divided into "tracks" by subject area. CapTech Ventures Inc. has begun work on tracks covering abuse, fraud and ombudsman services.
The WCD anticipates there will be a total of 14 tracks, the newsletter said.
