Two Baltimore city employees have been fired after an investigation found that they leaked confidential information about an upcoming bid for workers' compensation claims administration services.
The city's Office of Inspector General released a report Monday that said the workers forwarded emails to a potential vendor about the planned request for proposals on the claims services. The emails also contained confidential health information about city workers who had filed workers' comp claims, the report said.
