California Govenor Gray Davis signed into law on 9/20/00 Senate Bill 1272 adding Labor Code section 6332 requiring every employer who employs a community health-care worker to keep a record of any violence committed against that worker and to file a copy of the record with the state Department of Industrial Relation's Division of Labor Statistics and Research.
