The Judicial Nominating Commission for the Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Court is seeking applications to fill a vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Laureen K. Van Norman.
Van Norman, who is retiring on Jan. 5, has served more than 23 years on the bench of the Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Court.
The court is composed of seven judges who are initially appointed by the governor and who then remain on the bench for successive six-year terms, with voter approval.
