DWC: 441,070 Lien Declarations Filed

The Division of Workers’ Compensation said service providers submitted 441,070 lien declarations by the July 1 deadline. Senate Bill 1160 set a July 1 deadline for lien claimants to submit the declarations for liens filed between Jan. 1, 2013, and Dec. 31, 2016. The division said in a statement released Monday the 441,070 declarations represent about half of the 882,648 liens it says were filed during this period.
