WCIRB: Proportion of Payments for Medical, Indemnity Unchanged in 2022

The Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California on Tuesday reported that the proportion of total loss payments going to medical and indemnity benefits was unchanged in 2022. Employers paid $4.4 billion for medical benefits last year, representing 53% of total loss payments.
