A retired linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings who played in two Super Bowls in the '70s and practiced workers' compensation law for about 10 years after leaving football filed a workers' compensation claim in California against his former team, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press.Fred McNeill was admitted to the California Bar in 2001 but surrendered his license after being diagnosed with early-onset dementia in late 2009, allegedly because of repeated head trauma from playing football, the newspaper reported.
