A roofing contractor in Florida could be nailed with $64,000 in penalties after an incident with an aerial lift resulted in one of its workers being killed and another severely injured after plummeting three stories, the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced on Thursday.
OSHA says that Tecta America Southeast LLC could have prevented the death and injury had it properly inspected the lift before the workers started working on it while removing rain gutters at a lFord dealership in September 2015.
