Three-Member Panel to Tackle Fee Schedules Next Month

The Florida Three-Member Panel will meet Jan. 21 to approve the 2014 Health Care Provider Reimbursement Manual and an annual update to fees for ambulatory surgical centers.According to a notice in the Florida Administrative Register posted on Monday, the Health Care Provider Reimbursement Manual will address Senate Bill 662, which caps reimbursements for repackaged drugs at 112.5% of the average wholesale price set by the original manufacturer plus an $8 dispensing fee.
