NFL Sues to Move Players' Comp Cases to Ga.

The National Football League and the Atlanta Falcons have filed suit seeking to move workers' compensation cases filed by nine former players in California to a federal court in Georgia.The complaint in Atlanta Falcons v. The National Football League Association, No. 1:12-cv-753, was filed last Monday by attorneys Darrick L. McDuffie and S. Stewart Haskins II of King & Spalding, according to the Fulton County Daily Report. It asks U.S. District Judge Thomas W. Thrash Jr. to enforce a ruling by New York arbitrator Michael Beck directing former Falcons Roderick Coleman, Wilrey Fontenot, ...
