Triad Group to Manage State's UEF Claims

The state Workers’ Compensation Board has announced plans to transfer the administration of established Uninsured Employers’ Fund claims to the Triad Group, LLC, effective Jan. 13.The state UEF administers and pays medical and indemnity claims from injured workers whose employers did not have workers’ compensation insurance at the time of the accident.  Triad, a third-party administrator based in Troy, will assume established claims where liability has been determined, and medical, and/or indemnity payments must be made.
