Excela Health Offering Occ Med Services

Excela Health has launched an occupational medicine program at its outpatient center in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania in conjunction with Washington Health System.

The program will offer treatment for workplace injuries, drug screening and physicals, and workplace wellness programs, the TribLive website reported.

The program marks a return to occupational medicine for Excela Health, which discontinued a previous program about four years ago. Washington Health System has run an occupational medicine program since 1984, TribLive said.

Excela will run the program in what had been a doctor’s office at Excela Square at Norwin, a healthcare complex that opened in 2013. Excela offers a variety of services there, including outpatient surgery, blood work, imaging and diagnostics, family medicine, internal medicine and specialty practices.

Excela Health is a Pennsylvania nonprofit formed in 2004 and based in Greensburg.
