Supreme Court Suspends Attorney for 'Lack of Candor' in Comp Case, Bankruptcy Proceedings

The Rhode Island Supreme Court on Friday suspended an attorney from the practice of law for one year, based on his demonstrated lack of candor during proceedings before the state's Workers’ Compensation Court and a federal Bankruptcy Court. Veteran attorney Keven A. McKenna had run a law firm as an eponymous professional corporation in Providence.  Sumner Stone, one of his employees, filed a workers' compensation claim against the firm in May 2009.
