Fallin Approves Emergency Confidentiality Rules for Insurance Department

Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin on Tuesday announced that she has approved emergency confidentiality rules requested by Insurance Commissioner Larry Doak that he said are necessary if he wants to attend National Association of Insurance Commissioners educational conferences this summer. Although Fallin's order approving emergency rules is dated April 28, she did not make the announcement until near the close of business on Tuesday.
