New Fee Schedule Will Result in 1.5% Cut in Physician Spending

The South Carolina Workers' Compensation Commission has approved an update to the Medical Services Provider Manual that will add the latest Current Procedural Terminology codes established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.  The commission voted to retain the $50 conversion factor, used to calculate prices according to relative value units, that was adopted in August 2017.
