The New York Workers' Compensation Board this month removed more than 90 health care providers from the list of people authorized to treat injured workers and provide independent medical exams, and added about 90 new names to the list of authorized providers.
Providers are removed because they no longer have a valid medical license, have retired, died or have moved out of state, the board has said.
Also in May and June, the board accepted the voluntary resignation of five other doctors, temporarily suspended another and reinstated one.
