Proposed changes to the Kansas workers’ compensation fee schedule are expected to increase system costs by 2.6%, according to a notice posted in Friday’s state Register.
The Division of Workers’ Compensation adjusts the fee schedule at least biennially to ensure that fees are current, reasonable and fair. An analysis by the National Council on Compensation Insurance showed the proposal would increase costs by $11 million annually, according to the notice, on page 1190.
