Wrongful Termination Claim May Proceed, 13th DCA Rules

A worker who was fired five days after receiving an on-the-job injury complied with the notice requirements in the federal Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act and is entitled to proceed to trial in his wrongful termination claim, the Texas 13th District Court of Appeals ruled.Case: Patrick LaCour v.
