The Flanigan-Leavitt Insurance Agency has appointed Kyle Nielsen and Kelley Shewmaker as producers in its Reno office, the company said Wednesday.
Nielsen is a sales executive focusing on restaurants, retail, construction and auto repair. Shewmaker is a property and casualty agent with 20 years of insurance experience.
Prior to insurance, Nielsen operated a golf resort and ski area in Northern California. He volunteers with Sierra Nevada Community Sailing and participates in the growth of junior golf in the area. Nielsen earned a degree from Sonoma State University.
