Bill Would Change Salary Calculation for Appellate Comp Judges

A bill introduced in the Minnesota Legislature would change the calculation of salaries for judges in the Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals. Under Senate Bill 3630 and a companion measure, House Bill 4040, the judges’ salaries would be 105% of the salary of workers’ compensation judges in the Office of Administrative Hearings. The appellate judges’ salary is now 98.52% of district court judges’ salary.
