Three individuals were sentenced in unrelated cases for not reporting outside income while collecting workers’ compensation benefits, according to the Washington state Department of Labor and Industries. Rodimiro Cardenas Pacheco, 38, pleaded guilty to first-degree theft and was sentenced April 14 to three months in jail. He was also ordered to pay $39,000 in restitution.He was working in an orchard in Wenatchee in 2011 while receiving benefits from a 2001 injury, L&I said.
