No Assessment Needed for WC Security Fund this Year

Pennsylvania workers' compensation carriers will not be required this year to make contributions to the Workers' Compensation Security Fund, which pays for the cost of claims by liquidated carriers. Under state law, contributions are required only when the balance of the fund falls below $500 million, according to a notice posted in Saturday's Pennsylvania Bulletin.
