Groundskeeper Cited for Asbestos Exposure on College Project

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) fined a Maryland-based company for asbestos violations at Alderson-Broaddus College in Philippi, W.Va.OSHA said in a press release that inspectors cited Sodexo, of Gaithersburg, Md., for 12 serious violations of asbestos regulations during an inspection in March. Inspectors recommended $81,000 in fines.The company provides groundskeeping, housekeeping and security services at the college and employs 25 workers on the campus.
