Dr. Amy Harper Appointed to National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health

Dr. Amy Harper was appointed to serve on the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health, a 12-member panel that advises the secretaries of the Labor, and Health and Human Services departments.

Harper has more than 20 years of experience as a strategist, consultant and trainer in safety and health fields. As director of workplace strategy and consulting operations for the National Safety Council, she works to improve the competency of safety practitioners and encourages organizations to continue developing their safety efforts.

She also heads workplace consulting operations for the council, helping clients develop safety practices that are more robust than minimum workplace safety standards.

Harper will represent management on the advisory panel.
