A New York appellate court upheld the dismissal of a psyche injury claim by a Workers' Compensation Board employee based on her stress from a confrontation with a subordinate. Case: Matter of Cuva v. State Insurance Fund, No. 522424, 11/17/2016, published. Facts: Lynne Cuva worked for the New York Workers' Compensation Board as a program manager. She filed a workplace violence report in March 2013 based on an incident with one of her subordinates.
