A federal trial court judge in California last week ruled that a San Francisco-based taxi company can proceed with its lawsuit against the commissioners of the state's Public Utilities Commission for granting more favorable treatment to ride-share companies such as Uber and Lyft than to "traditional" carriers.
The case was Desoto Cab Co. v. Picker, No. 15-cv-04375.
