A metal-stamping plant in Valley City is facing up to $70,000 in penalties for exposing its workers to injuries, according to a release from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
OSHA initiated an investigation into Superior Roll Forming Company, Inc. after a 55-year-old worker’s left index finger was crushed in March.
Investigators for OSHA went to the work site and found that the company had not installed safety mechanisms on all of its machines, according to the release.
