Legislation to give North Dakota's workers' compensation agency more authority over noncompliant employers passed the Senate with amendments last week.
The full Senate voted 47-0 to pass an amended version of House Bill 1137 on Tuesday. The bill now goes back to the House, which will consider the changes. The chamber passed an earlier version of the bill by a 93-0 vote in January.
