Governor Approves Extending COVID-19 Presumption

The presumption that COVID-19 is compensable for frontline workers in Vermont will remain in effect until 30 days after the state lifts its emergency declaration. Gov. Phil Scott on Wednesday signed Senate Bill 9, by Sen. Michael Sirotkin, D-South Burlington, which will extend the presumption for the duration of the state of emergency declared in response to the disease caused by the new coronavirus.
