California employers are paying less for workers’ compensation coverage than they were three years ago, thanks in large part to savings flowing from Senate Bill 863, but regulators still have more to do to finish implementing the reform measure.
The Division of Workers’ Compensation has work to do in the form of adopting fee schedules setting reimbursement rates for interpreters, home health care providers and vocational experts.
The Office of Self-Insurance Plans, meanwhile, still has to adopt rules specifying data that public agencies are required to submit.
