Bellingham Company Fined for Asbestos, Lead Violations

A property management company in Bellingham has been cited for alleged safety violations involving improper handling of asbestos and lead.  Daylight Properties faces fines totaling $185,600 in connection with the citations issued by the Washington Department of Labor & Industries. The company has 15 business days to appeal. L&I has cited the company for 33 serious and six general violations, the agency said in a news release.
