DWC Suspends 10 More Providers Under New Fraud Law

The number of medical providers suspended since anti-fraud statutes took effect at the start of the year climbed by 10, to 207, on Monday. The Division of Workers’ Compensation announced that Administrative Director George Parisotto issued suspension orders against the following medical providers because their licenses were suspended, surrendered or revoked: Dr. Gerald David Ebner, of Santa Maria, surrendered his medical license in 2017 based on grounds of sexual misconduct with a patient, and unprofessional conduct.
