The California Department of Insurance announced that an agent in Laguna Beach was arraigned Monday on 27 felony counts for allegedly stealing $62,000 in premiums from at least 10 businesses.
Erin L. McCarroll, 49, was doing business as Erin McCarroll Insurance Services. She allegedly accepted premium payments and pocketed the funds to use for her own personal expenses, the department said.
