High Court Clarifies Calculation of Industrial Hearing Loss for Retired Firefighters

Maryland’s highest court ruled that the average hearing loss for two retired firefighters was properly calculated by counting the number of years between their 50th birthdays and the date that each retired and were no longer exposed to industrial noise.
