New Mexico’s Workers’ Compensation Administration (WCA) is amending its rules to add Uninsured Employers’ Fund (UEF) eligibility determination into the mediation process in a pilot program that seeks to speed up the processing of claims to the fund.New Mexico has used a two-part system to determine benefit eligibility.
