WCIRB Amends Pure Premium Rate Filing to 4.3% Decrease

As expected, California's Workers' Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau on Monday amended its rate filing and is now proposing a pure premium rate 4.3% less than the rate that was approved for July 1. The WCIRB is recommending a rate of $2.22 per $100 of payroll, compared to the current rate of $2.32. In August it proposed a rate of $2.26 but said at the time it would amend the filing if Gov.
