Fiscal Committee Schedules Hearing on Presumption Bill

A couple of days after California lawmakers finalize their plans to address the projected $54 billion deficit and enact a 2020-21 budget, a fiscal committee in the state Senate will take another look at a bill that would create a presumption that COVID-19 is an occupational injury for certain workers.
