National Safety Council Shares Tips to Prevent Heat-Related Injuries

The National Safety Council recently shared tips on how to avoid heat-related illnesses and deaths that could prove useful as the U.S. faces an extreme heat wave that stretches from Southern California to Southern Florida and from Montana down the Great Plains into parts of Texas.  All-time heat records could be reached at some locations in the Southwest, according to the National Weather Service.
