The Hilb Group Acquires Carrier Insurance Agency

The Hilb Group LLC, a middle-market insurance agency headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, has acquired Florida-based Carrier Insurance Agency Inc. The acquisition strengthens The Hilb Group’s presence in central Florida, the company said in announcing the deal on Tuesday. The transaction took effect on July 1. Carrier Insurance has been serving central Florida for 30 years. Leo Carrier is the owner and president.
