One Call Awards $28,000 College Scholarship

One Call, a provider of workers’ compensation care management services, has announced the first recipient of a scholarship for children with a parent who was seriously hurt or killed on the job. Jared Cooper of DeLand, Florida, will receive $7,000 a year for four years through the Kids' Chance of Florida One Call Scholarship. Cooper plans to attend Stetson University, a private school in DeLand, this fall. He will study biochemistry and plans to pursue a career in engineering.
