By Greg Jones, Western Bureau ChiefA Senate subcommittee on Thursday rejected proposed budget language that would have increased funding for a program to supplement benefits for some California injured workers beyond the $120 million authorized by Senate Bill 863.At the same time, the subcommittee recommended new budget language that would say money from the fund that is not spent in 2013 can be rolled over to 2014, and to clarify that the effective date of the program is Jan. 1, 2013.
