Judges Dismiss One Compound Cream Case by Liberty Mutual, and One Case Against It

A state court in Philadelphia dismissed a lawsuit by Liberty Mutual Insurance and its affiliates alleging more than three dozen Pennsylvania pharmacies had engaged in fraud and overbilling by selling expensive compounded creams to injured workers. A federal judge in Pennsylvania on Friday also dismissed a lawsuit by a compounding pharmacy that argued Liberty Mutual had violated the workers' compensation statute by refusing to fill those same types of prescriptions.
