West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice has appointed James Dodrill as the state’s insurance commissioner, effective March 4.
Dodrill has worked for the past two decades as corporate claims counsel for Progressive Group of Insurance Companies. Before that, he was a lawyer in private practice.
A graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law, Dodrill received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Marshall University.
