Court Delays Bar Date for Claims against Atlantic Mutual

The New York Supreme Court for New York County has delayed the final bar date for claims against failed workers' compensation and marine industry carrier Atlantic Mutual Insurance Co. until Dec. 15.The New York Liquidation Bureau posted notice last Friday that the court has rescinded the Sept. 30 bar date and extended the deadline for the filing of all claims except the liquidator's claims for administrative expenses.The court placed Atlantic Mutual into liquidation on April 27, 2011.Further information on the Atlantic Mutual liquidation is here.Source: New York Liquidation Bureaubody ...
