Ohio Chiropractor Pleads Guilty to Workers' Compensation Fraud

An Ohio chiropractor has been ordered to pay more than $300,000 in restitution following a guilty plea to workers’ compensation fraud, a fourth-degree felony. Michael L. Brown pleaded guilty Aug. 22 in Franklin County Commons Pleas Court to allegations of billing for services not rendered and submitting patient claims for dates of service when the patient was not at the chiropractic office or when the office was closed.
