The Montana Department of Labor and Industry is holding a remote public hearing May 18 to gather testimony on proposed changes to its medical fee schedule.
Changes the department is considering would increase the base rate for inpatient services provided at an acute care hospital on or after July 1 to $10,011 from $9,435.
The department is also proposing to increase the conversion factor for anesthesia services to $65.73 from $64.84. And the department is proposing to reduce the conversion factor for goods and services other than anesthesia to $60.47 from $61.05.
