Neurologist Charged With Alleged Kickbacks for Patient Referrals

A neurologist in Bergen County, New Jersey, has been charged with third-degree conspiracy and commercial bribery for allegedly paying kickbacks to a chiropractor in exchange for patient referrals to his pain management facility. Dr. Terry Ramnanan, 64, was charged in an indictment handed up by a grand jury in Trenton last week, the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office said. Ramnanan operates the Interventional Spine and Pain facility in Paramus.
