California lawmakers will hear testimony on a half-dozen workers’ compensation bills Wednesday, including measures that would reduce the time employers have to decide liability on certain presumptive claims filed by first responders, create presumptions for hospital workers and require that injured employees have access to services of licensed clinical social workers.
